What A/V is available?
Our built-in sound system, which can play background music or a curated playlist throughout the museum, is available for private events and full museum buyouts only. If you’re interested in a projector, mic and speaker for quick remarks during your event, please ask your celebration specialist about availability and pricing.
Would it be possible to have a private event in the afternoon/mid-day?

- Boston: Museum of Ice Cream Boston is conveniently located within walking distance of several parking garages. The closest is located at 111 Autumn Lane, Boston, MA 02210.
- Chicago: Museum of Ice Cream Chicago is conveniently located within walking distance of several parking garages. We recommend using SpotHero to find the best options and reserve your spot. Use our SpotHero link here.
- Las Vegas: Museum of Ice Cream Las Vegas offers garage parking on-site. Visitors with Nevada plates are free. Visitors with out-of-state plates pay a flat rate of $6.99/day, max.
- New York City: There is no street parking available outside Museum of Ice Cream New York. However, there are plenty of parking garages within walking distance.
- Miami: Museum of Ice Cream Miami is conveniently located within walking distance of several parking garages. The closest is Miami Worldcenter Block D Garage located at 888 NE 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33132.
Does the museum serve savory food?
We’ve got your sweet tooth covered. As for savory foods, we can recommend external vendors and caterers based on your needs.
Can I bring in outside food or catering for my event?
Yes. External foods are permitted for full museum buyouts only. You can bring in your own caterer provided they’re insured (COI required). Need recommendations? We’ve got a list of local favorites.
Do you have gluten free and dairy free options?
Yes, we do. Please note that there is always a possibility of cross-contamination.
Can I bring a cake or cupcakes?
Yes, but no homemade goods, please. Cupcakes, cakes and pastries are permitted only from a licensed baker for private events, semi-private room rentals and full museum buyouts. If you need suggestions, we work with some wonderful vendors who can make your celebration extra sweet.

Does Museum of Ice Cream offer alcohol and bar packages?
Yes. Refreshments are part of the experience when booking an event at the museum. We have built-in bar stations at each location and offer a variety of options for daytime or after-hours events. See our event planning brochure for details.
Do you offer gift bags?
We do. Gift bags are just one of the many customizations you can add on to your event.
Does Museum of Ice Cream offer staffing at events?
Yes. We offer a dedicated party host for all events. For private events and full museum buyouts, we also offer complimentary event staff, including bartenders, ice cream attendants, greeters and retail. Additional staffing can be arranged with your event coordinator.
Does Museum of Ice Cream offer museum guides?
Yes. We can arrange for a dedicated, knowledgeable tour guide to walk your guests through the museum. This experience is just one of the many customizations you can add on to your event.
Can I decorate the space for my party?
Decorations are only allowed during private events and full museum buyouts.
What if I would like to cancel the event, or if some of my guests are unable to attend?
Refunds are allowed for private events or full museum buyouts with 3 weeks’ notice. We can always reschedule the event as well. You can add or subtract the number of guests up until the time of your final headcount.
What happens if more guests arrive than the contracted amount?
We will charge your card on file for the additional amount should you wish to accommodate more guests than the contracted number on the day of the event. You can add or subtract the number of guests up until the time of your final headcount.
